I did not really mean to become a photographer, but with the first photo that I took for this blog, I knew I wanted to make better photographs. Although I am by no means a professional photographer, I believe my photographs have improved since I started learning photography. I still have a lot to learn about making good photographs, but I do try my best to capture the beauty of food.

My style so far has reflected simplicity, and I try to bring a sense of beauty and elegance to everyday food items. I shoot mostly with natural light and a DSLR camera (Canon 6D). My evolution into photography has also allowed me to explore and appreciate different cultures and communities through the lens of food. Photography also gives me a medium to tell unique stories about food through their textures, colours and shapes.
